lyrics

WHEN ZOOKEEPING GOES WRONG:

"there's nowt much more fooked-up than a butterfly's tongue"
said a northern anthropologist to my imaginary friend once.
ever since i was five, i been frightened of lions
i blame a certain car advert on television at the time
about a certain oversized feline going from strength to strength
but the only escaped zoo animals that ever made it to Box Grove
were wallabies
and that might have actually been a dream.
my ex was terrified of sharks when near water
her phobia went overboard even by the canal
and i think that this is far more ridiculous
than my fear of being mauled by big cats
in a recurring nocturnal scenario
we break into Bishop's Gardens
only to find it overrun with wild animals, wolf packs, snow leopards
and suchlike
i have this one almost as often as the one about moving house....
